I am The Production Director at mid sized church. We are running Resolume as a means to run our Content that we put on our LED in our main auditorium that seats 1,000 people.
I am currently running Resolume off a Macbook Pro with an M1 Pro chip and 16 GB of Memory. It does ok but when we start adding effects or anything more than 2 layers it really starts to slow down and sometimes even crashes.
I was looking at the Newer Mac Minis with the M4 Pro chips but have heard that a Mac Studio with an M2 Max or Ultra is technically still faster with graphics. Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or experience with using these and if there is one that would be more reliable than the other and for what reason.
