Good morning community,
I am trying to "wrap" my videos / images around an aesthetically acceptable "frame", so a video / image playing in a size smaller that the background layer's size can be visually separated. Preferrable would be, this frame to adapt to size changes of the video or image itself and retain the colour and / or thickness / pattern. Does such an effect exist? If not, is there any workaround for doing so?
Any advice is highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Frame around video / image
Use layer or clip transform to make the image smaller, and add Solid color effect with show image enabled afer transform.

Thanks Zoltán and apologies for the late response.Zoltán wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 17:01 Use layer or clip transform to make the image smaller, and add Solid color effect with show image enabled afer transform.
This is a nice step and I tried it but it only solves partially the question: the solid colour fills the remaining of the layer to the edges of the display, no matter the size of the layer; the solid colour now covers completely the lower (background) layer. I wonder how could I confine the solid colour to a thinner (or thicker) band around the layer's edge so to reveal the background layer.
Do you think it's possible?
Re: Frame around video / image
Put a second transform after the solid colour and resize with that.
