Post by Hadis1950 »

Hello
im upgrading my set up and im now running 2 computers on stage. i have the computers on the same network via an ethernet cable. i want to have my camera coming thru resolume and going into ableton on my other computer to use the resolume effects on said video within videosync. i'm having trouble getting the video camera output into videosync. can someone explain how i can do this please?

Resolume Arena supports NDI Output, which allows you to stream video over your local network. I think so, or if Videosync doesn't support NDI directly, you can use NDI Virtual Input to turn the NDI signal into aBlock Blast virtual webcam, then select it in Videosync.

The "best" approach depends on your specific needs, budget, technical comfort level, and the complexity of your audio requirements. Experiment with Resolume's native effects first, and if you find them limiting, explore some recommended VSTs or consider dipping your toes into the world of DAWs like Ableton. Good luck!
