been playing with the demo a few days, and tested it out at a gig yesterday. loving this software. one big issue I've yet to solve though: how do you effectively preview your output in dual monitor mode?

I'm running my laptop through a video mixer so Resolume is not always on the main screen. even if it was its not always possible to have a great view of the screen. seems pretty necessary to be able to see the output on the interface screen.

most obvious solution would be to have the mix displayed on both monitors. I'm guessing it doesn't to increase processing power (although its worth noting that VDMX can have 3 videos playing onscreen at once). regardless, if its not possible to have the output on both screens is it possible to seemlessly toggel between dual and single monitor modes?

what I'd like to do is press a button and have the output automatically go to fullsceen on the second monitor. can't figure out how to do this, not sure if its possible. can't even get the output to fullscreen on the second monitor without using the mouse, right now. and that means usign the mouse on the live feed, not cool at all. any solutions. definitely would like to see a one touch button to do this in the future.

This is what the DVDMax setting on the Matrox cards enables. If you go to the 'preferences' tab of Resolume, you can enable this setting. Since you're on a laptop, you probably won't have this ability.

It is something that I wish they would add, though.

We get around this issue by having the feed of Resolume go to a MXPro, which then feeds a reference monitor.

Cheers.
