Resolume 2.2 and 2.3 at CPU 98% Normal?

Hi,
It's normal when I test Resolume 2.2 and 2.3 at 2 differents configuration CPU at 90-98% at start? (no matÃ©rial, no films,no flash, only Start resolume!!

PC ( XPsp1 P4 2Gz 256Ram)Ati Rage 128
Laptop (XPsp2 AMD Turon 64 Mobile 1.8Gz 1GRam) Ati Radeon 256

What are your CPU with differents configurations?

My Lapton temperature is very high. What do you think?:(

Yes it's normal. Resolume reserves the whole cpu much like a game. All VJ apps are processor intensive and high temps are common.

There are various standard things to do to free up cpu cycles like closing uneccesary background apps and turning off all the fancy stuff in xp.
