I’d like to report a consistent crash issue I’m experiencing with Resolume Arena on Windows, specifically related to the Web Server settings, and share the context in case it helps identify the cause.
System context
• OS: Windows (tested on Windows 11)
• Resolume: Arena (latest version at the time of testing)
• DJ hardware: Denon DJ PRIME 4+
• Network: Wired LAN (StageLinq)
What I’m trying to do
I’m attempting to synchronize visuals in Resolume Arena with Denon DJ PRIME 4+ using StageLinq (BPM, beat phase, and track position–based sync).
With the same PRIME 4+ unit and network setup, StageLinq works correctly on macOS.
The issue only occurs on Windows.
Issue description
When I open:
Preferences → Web Server
and toggle the single option:
“Enable Web Server & Reset API”
There is no warning message or error dialog — the application simply exits.
Because of this, I’m unable to proceed with any Web Server, API, or StageLinq-related workflow on Windows.
Additional observations
• The crash happens consistently when toggling Enable Web Server & Reset API
• Same hardware, cables, and PRIME 4+ work as expected on macOS
• Required StageLinq ports are open (UDP 51337, TCP 41862–41922)
• Windows Firewall exceptions have been configured
• Wired Ethernet only (Wi-Fi disabled)
• The crash appears to occur during Web Server / API initialization
Why this matters
Many StageLinq-based workflows rely on:
• Resolume’s Web Server
• API access
• OSC or external control integration
This crash currently blocks the use of Resolume Arena on Windows in a DJ–VJ–Lighting synchronized setup with Denon DJ hardware.
Question
Has anyone else experienced:
• Crashes when toggling Enable Web Server & Reset API on Windows?
• Similar issues when using Resolume Arena with Denon DJ StageLinq?
Any confirmation, workaround, or insight would be greatly appreciated.
I’m happy to provide logs or additional system details if needed.
Thank you.
