Resolume with Behringer XTouch Compact

Post by Barbara_btfl »

Hi all!

I've been struggling for hours now and also googled all the results till page 20 but still no luck.

Is there anyone working with a Behringer X-touch Compact having a decent fader mapping?

The X-touch has touch-sensitive faders, but with mapping, touching the fader gives a different CC note in stead of sliding it up and down. So after mapping it switches between 0 and 100 without the smooth slide between. All internet resources are stating the touch sensitive feature can be easily switched off in the x-touch editor software. Well, I couldn't find such of an option in the software.

Please, let me know, because at this point I am moments from returning the damn controller to the vendor.

Kind regards,

Barbara

You can duplicate the existing shortcut in Resolume, and change the CC to the one of the touch.

Its capacitive touch so I use a roll of tape, or my sleeve to move the faders for mapping. Yes, its bloody annoying, but you can work around it, and once done you dont have to change it much!
