So, it is mostly working in Bottles.
Apart from a couple of small bugs, like the "Arena" menu not showing up if it's too close to the edge of the screen. And a double buffering problem with parts of the preview area, it does actually work.
With a couple of caveats, I've set it up as a game, and using the soda-9.0.1 runner.
It was a lot more buggy running the proton-ge runner.
I'll try to include my configuration file here: https://github.com/Ph0N37Ic5/Random_Fil ... solume.yml

Re: Linux support
+1 to this. With the direction both Mac and Windows are going with AI and surveillance features that are going to get even harder to opt out of, I'm finding the situation of using these operating systems becoming quickly untenable. There's only so long I can safely pin a computer to an older OS version before it is no longer receiving security patches or modern software won't run on it.

Re: Linux support
Also jumping on board.
Question for the devs - what is the big hurdle to Linux support?

Re: Linux support
Also requesting support for Linux!
Windows 11 carries such a terrible overhead that it quite literally impacts my performing machine's performance at times. Linux would allow me to stretch those resources even further without having to buy a new machine (and buying a machine just for performing that sits idle and unused in a box the rest of the time feels kind of wasteful)
I also do NOT like the direction windows is going. I already daily drive Linux on my workstation and do most of my clips with Linux based software but for compositing and testing stuff out I need to dual boot into windows to start Resolume. Resolume is the only piece of software still forcing me to dedicate a partition to windows which I would gladly rid myself of. I understand it might not be your primary concern at the time but I can assure you in the future there will be increased pressure to start offering Linux support. Game developers already feel it as there are more Linux gamers currently than mac gamers which is kind of unheard of.
