effects not showing in recording

I use Avenue 7.23.2 and send midi codes from ableton to Avenue to start clips. I have applied effects to these clips which do show in the preview monitor. However, when I record the composition, the clips show perfectly in the recording but without the effects. So my questio is: how can I make sure the effects are not only shown in the preview monitor but also in the recording?
