Oh and while I think about it,
anyone chaining a BCF and BCR together?
via MIDI or is there a better way?
any conflicts?

Loving my BCF and thinking about getting the other.

I currently have the BCR and BCF chained with midi.
no conflicts... you have to change the internal settings of each unit...
THere are 4 different modes... It was clearly outlined in the manual but off the top of my head, I can't recall it.
The manual has pictures though, so it is pretty idiot proof.

Since they are both the same shell, in my setup, it was easy to remove the wings and then combine both controllers into one console. This helped me fit the unit vj controls into one of these:
