Hi,
Although I'm quite new to VJ'ing and inexperienced, I have been using Resolume since late last year for mixing visuals at monthly partys we have in our local club.
I've managed to "obtain" a small form factor pc for use with resolume. The problem is, it will only accept a half height graphics card so I've got hold of a Radeon 9200 SE 128 Mb which I think will do fine as from what I've heard Resolume isn't massivley graphics card intensive.
The problem is that obviously I need two outputs, 1 for my monitor and the other for projecting the output. I was just going to buy another PCI Graphics card to run the preview screen but now I'm wondering whether to use the vga connector on the 9200 for the monitor and the s-video connector on the same card for the projector?
Before I've always used two separate vga outputs. What is the quality of S-Video like and are there any detrimental effects on picture quality or performance by using it?
Sorry if it's a stupid question, never had much experience with s-video though....
Thanks in advance...
Dan.

S-Video or VGA to Projector?
this is the normal way to do. you can use both options.in my opinion vga direct to the projector gives a better quality and you can use a higher resolution, if you want. but svhs is also quite ok. i use s-vhs, because i also use an hardware mixer.
every modern card supports dual monitor.
but maybe you should think of the future and invest in better graphic card. the 9200 LE is really a low end card.
