hello everyone - thanks for everyone in this forum, it tought me a lot about all the small tricks in resolume.
Im planing to buy some MIDI controller for Resolume
and I'm considering:
Oxygen 8
Evolution Mk425C
and slightly more expensive
Alesis Photon X25 (this fancy AXYZ dome seems to be great idea)
The only problem is that X25 has 'endless knobs' which I've heard cause problems with resolume.
Has anyone tried X25 or other endless knobs equipment?

dont worry - the knobs in Photon, are not really endless, at least not on the MIDI signal levels - they just reach a MIDI limit (128) and you can turn more and they don't go any further, but if you turn another way, they go down immadietely. Doesn't affect resolume in any way, but it seems that they should be not configured as 'endless'
AXYZ dome sounds like a good idea, bud pracitce leaves a lot to demand - unstable signal and not well calibrated (at least my model) - showing only half scale. Forget about good control...
Buttons underneath the knobs dont seem to work in resolume, which is a pitty as they also have optional 'toggle mode'. They would be ideal to switch banks, but I didn't find the way to make them work yet.
I'll try to return the one I got as faulty and keep you informed. As for now, If I had a choice I would go for Photon 25 and save few quids.
