Hello!
I am setting up Arena in a museum installation kind of setup - LOVE Autopilot and it's options for exactly this.
There will be several layers of video slideshows going to 6-8 screens thru a decklink.
My problem... I have a Ambient audio track that needs to loop independently and forever no matter what the other layers are doing.
How do I "immunize" this layer from getting "Autopiloted"?
At the Clip level I see "Do Nothing" but I cannot find the same for Layer level.
Thanks for any pointers
cheers

I think what you are looking for is in the layer menu. You can access it in the little Coq wheel in the layer panel or right clicking on the layer name or in the main menu. There is a option there that says "ignore column triggers." Turn that on and all clips on that layer will be ignored by the autopilot.

Additionally, you can have the layer start the audio on composition load, the Layer has an option for that, called trigger first clip on load.

Boom! YES!!!
Thank you Zoltan and tijnisfijn - both the Ignore Column Triggers and the Trigger First Clip on Play are **exactly** what I was hoping to find/do
Thank you very much!
