just got the demo or resolume and am loving it.
one question tho: whn i have a swf file in a channel and i right-click to bring up the channel props, there is a tab with a text box...i haven't found any documentation on this text box, what it does or how to use it. is it a way to send a text variable into the flash file?
any help would be appreciated.

yeah whatever you put into the text field gets sent a variable named "text" on the main timeline of the swf. From the looks of it, Resolume also reads the varible out of the swf and automatically fills it into the text box.
the intention is for you to create your own text effects in flash and then be able to enter text from resolume. I use it to pass a number into flash which tells the swf to go to a particular loop, allowing me to have 100+ loops in one swf. Pretty nice, just wish there was a slider that did the same thing...
