Midi Controller - UC-33e VS. BCF2000

Post by foceye »

hello everyone... so i have to ask which one is ultimately more compatible with Resolume?

UC-33e or BCF2000??

i read the thread on the BCF2000 and it seems pretty popular amongst you guys... but the reprogramming via xml java, etc... has got me a little scared... or confused on how difficult that actually is? it seems like a lot of work?

i've also seen the UC-33e mentioned and they seem real similar due to the fader set up... Does any one on here use the UC-33e and if so could you please comment on its performance, ease of use, etc??

much appreciated, thanks, ren

Hi,

You can set all the controls on the BCF directly, note, cc, par etc...no need to use the soft app...unless you need to load up other configs. I have the BCF running resolume and triggering audio cues and samples from Virtual DJ...lots of fun.

forgot to mention that BCF2000 have "automatic" faders...in some software you change the parameter and the fader change position automatic
and i think the construction of bcf2000 is better
