Is it possible to use the geforce4 overlay to have 2 outputs 1 on the control monitor and 1 on the output monitor. Or is it only with the Matrox videocards.

no the GeForce can not work with an overlay like the Matrox card.

For the technical peeps: the matrox videocard support so called RGB overlay surfaces. And the Geforce card only suport YUV overlay surfaces. To use the YUV overlay we need to convert our RGB pixels to the YUV system. And this is very slow so we can get it working only at 6 frames per second ;-(

what about using the nView technology on a GeForce 4? It has dual crt support!

Nview works fantastic, but the main problem is dat I want 2 outputs :-) and that is not possible with the overlay feature from nvidia cards.
