Recording Bug

Post by Anonymous »

I am currently using Resolume 2.3 on Windows XP machine. When I go to record my set everything seems to be fine. I stop and close down Resolume. However, when I go to play the recorded avi it doesn't want to play. After debugging the avi file I get the following message:

[Corrupt AVI header
This is an invalid AVI file due to corruption of the data in the header. This is a serious problem, and this file is not likely to be playable.

Details: While processing chunk /RIFF:AVI, found bad length value 192 at file offset 0x00000010.]

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to get my online demo up and running as soon as I can.

Well if resolume uses Open DML AVI then you need a better player or a sample under 4 gugs and failing that try less than 2.

how big is the recorded file? note that there is a limit to the filesize of AVI's could you try and sample a short clip and see if that works?

I have a similar problem. I recorded a 5 minute long, 640x480, 2.5Gb file but no player will play it, they all fail (I tried with media player classic, winamp, realplayer). For what i read 2Gb is the size limit of avi files...What do you recommend doing?

Windows XP Sp2, Onboard graphics card, Resolume 2.3.

Thanks.
