Resolume and linux

Post by audioman »

Hi,

I have a video project that will have 3 projectors combined to make a big video wall. Our school purchased resolume, so I'm probably going to use it for generating the video footage.

Is there currently any solution for streaming video output from resolume to a linux application? I have a setup where I can link different computers across the network to get more video outputs (using the Xdmx X proxy server). Searching the web I ran into Patchbox, but it seems to be only available on windows. Or is this something that is built into for example EffecTV? Maybe a freeframe plugin?

A backup solution will be to use something like Maxivista to make the video wall under windows but I would really prefer to use linux for it.

PatchBox ran fine under wine in linux. Too bad you can't stream the video output in resolume with it. You can only stream individual clips from your decks.
