i use a v4, it has multiple outputs. you could also use a video matrix to split to multiple outputs.

however if you actually mean different content on each screen, then youll need multiple sources...

At the moment, I'm running a PCI ATI 7x00 clone (ATI chipset; probably a MazDog-built card, if I remember correctly) with 1 XVGA and 1 S-video port plus a very old AGP ATI 9200 with 2 XVGA ports. I use the PCI XVGA port for my user interface and the AGP ports to drive the projectors. Variously I'll run duplicate projections (that is, the same combination of layers on both projectors) or individual projections (different layer combos) on the 9200. On at least one occasion, I've run three different individual projection feeds (plus 1 interface) by making use of the S-video output on the 7x00; however, I think I was using a more-recent ATI AIW in the AGP slot.

Its multiple-simultaneous feed capability is why I settled on Resolume in the first place.

I'm using an laptop. The only solution I've got if I want multiple projection is a Dual or Triple Head by Matrox.

Do someone use it and how it is ?

I've heard that this card provides a big large screen but not multiple screens...

Is that right ?

Otherwise, if it's possible, I run fast to my computer shop !! :D:D

it does not work with resolume. i had already problems to start the interface and resolume does not offer a output like 2048*768.

Hi,
you could have a mess around with the screensetup.xml file.
you can manually put in the resolutions, this is of course a hack but it makes it possible to use different resolutions then that are listed in resolume.
Resolume lists all resolutions supported by the display device, but that doesn't allways mean that i can't work on other resolutions. I once had it setup that it used a process resolution of 7x7 pixels scaled to 800x600...

nividia 6600 and it does 2048*768 right out of the box

Post by AIWAZ »

i just built a new system with a nividia 6600 and it does 2048*768 right out of the box on 2 screens with the stock drivers in in span mode and it shows up as one display horizontal its also possible to do vertical with a rez of 1024*1536 so no matrox dual head2go needed
it also does clone mode and independent displays and another cool feature is it does radical keystoning on both h and v and on independent displays (so you can adjust each screen independent of each other )except in span mode it treats it as one display so it keystones both displays as one witch is kinda useless
