Here is my list of features/improvements I would like to see
-Midi Clock Out, this is far more important than general midi out for me. I would love to have Resolume in/sync with my V4. A little switch to turn on Midi Clock Out would be good too.
-Put the BPM options on the same tab as the Audio Analysis, these are two things that I find myself having to monitor constantly.
What about sticking the BPM number and the "beat bar" somewhere on the interface where you can see it all the time, like next to the clock maybe....
or at the very least, assignable midi notes for both tabs so you can quickly toggle between the two.
It's been mentioned elsewhere, bpm 1/4 1/2 beats - mainly 1/2, often you want to ping pong a clip to a single beat.
-Audio Analysis, originally I thought better audio analysis would be great but it doesn't work so great in practice anymore.
I use audio analysis to drive freeframe parameters, I find the change in values too small to effectively drive effects where you need a big value change for the effect to be visible. Even with the falloff and gain controls, values still hover around certain "areas" of the spectrum with no visible effect, the old analysis engine was a bit more jumpy and drove parameters a little better visibility wise..
What I would like to see is the current engine with a multiplier on the freeframe effects/layers/playhead for audio analysis. i.e. audio analysis value - x2, x3 to drive effects.
-Drag and drop slots - Being able to drag the contents and associated effects/parameter from one slot to another. I spend so much time reorganising decks, recreating slots, I wish I could just drag from one slot to the other.
-A scalable interface.
