vidnet wdm/vfw driver

it'd be great to have a standalone vidnet driver, that would act as a vidnet client that received the stream over the network and makes the stream available as a VFW or WDM video capture device...
that way we could pipe it to other apps or dump it to disk with some realtime mpeg encoder (morgan) without the need of a video capture board :)

or just open the specs of it, I'd be glad to make such tool :)

it,s an interesting idea definitely, we,ll talk to dave from inside-us-all (he made vidnet) about it, see how he feels about it.
