This is a bit complicated to describe - so I hope you get it..
This could be considered a bug - so here we go:
When I use the Audio FFT on the layer opacity with the overlay mode set to a 50% (or any other) gray transition, to cut a layer with no fading with the slider halfway up - I get a very flickering output - When I record my s-video output from resolume on dv - and look at the recorded material the flickering is a lot of "half-frames".
Meaning - the cut from one frame to the other is sometime made while resolume is still drawing the outgoing frame.

It would be great if the video engine would either show one frame or the other. So that a cut could not happen in the middle of a frame.

Half frames - bug/request..
The engine is setup to wait for the whole frame to render and then render the next by default. This used to be an option in version 1.51. So it should be ok.
Are both outputs on your videocard set to the same refresh rate? Does it always happen or only when you animate the opactity with the audio FFT?

I think it only happens when I animate the opacity with the audio FFT - with the overlay mode on transistion..
And about the refresh rates - My lcd is set to 60H - and I guess my s-video out - palB is 50H..? -I cant change my lcd screen down to 50H - maybe through an extra utillity.. - but I don't think the problem lies here though.
