Could do with some help with this. Im running 320 X 240 avi's, morgan MJPEG clips on a dual core 2.4, 1mb ram pentium.
By all accounts things should be fine, but im getting random output freezes that last around 5 secs or so then it carries on. Ive tried resolume 2.3, 2.4 beta and now 2.4 final, but its the same deal. I assume that its my pc or clips.. It seems to happen most when changing to a different layer, though it seems it can happen anytime. Its not infrequent either - happens every minute or so. I dont want to have to find different software to use for next friday - id like to stick with resolume.
The demo footage from resolume runs like a dream, so am i doing something wrong? I really thought id cracked it with the MJPEG compression, after having trouble with MPEGS at first!
I have my first gig next week so im a bit worried! If anyone has any suggestions id appreciate it.
(nb. yes ive searched, read the manual, googled everything etc - its getting so im scared to ask anything here in case i get told off!)

Output freezing randomly - 1st gig soon!
The hard drive.. hmm yes, i should know this seeing as i bought it recently. Its a DELL 5150 dual core pentium, 2.8ghz, masses of hard drive space. And yes, i meant 1gb of ram.
I thought the background processes might be affecting it too - ive gone through them with the help of an online guide to see what i can cut down on, and shut down all non essential stuff. Its really bugging me - the trips are triggering very fast, the sliders are all perefctly smooth, no judders, and then suddenly Bang, it stops for 4 secs and freezes. Also when i close resolume, it often says 'resolume has encountered a problem and needs to close'. Crashes in other words, but only after ive closed it, which i guess is something at least.. Ive checked the CPU usage, it seems to run at around 50%, but sometimes drops down to around 5% whilst running resolume. Is that normal?
I have 4 days til my gig, some great content. I fear this could be my downfall! Is there any other software with an easy learning curve? (im not happy asking that - i like resolume!)
edit 2/10: Just did a little CPU testing.. During a freeze, the CPU drops from its usual 50%, to 0%. Freezes, then it rises to 30% then back up to 50% and off it goes again
