Just in case the programmers are bored... new feature requests -
As well as play forward, reverse, pause and random, could we have this mode? - play the clip once then go to black, or jump to another clip selected randomly or by letter.
This would be useful for chaos mode or very short clips that you want to insert almost subliminally without looping messily. We could render these onto the start of a longer clip but that loses versatility.
The other play mode I thought of is to have a beatsync mode where you can key-tap in the tempo and resolume would jump to a random point in the clip every 4th/8th/etc beat. This could also be selected in chaos mode to change clips in time, randomly choosing whether to change on 1/2/4/8/16/32/64 beats with selectable upper and lower limits. This may sound like lazy VJing, but chaos mode can be a godsend when you're trying to prepare another source/operate a laser/etc in a hectic set.

Another thing that would be nice in later versions would be multiple decks.
I know you can save and load decks but sometimes if you load a complete deck while a few channels are playing this screwes up playing. You either load a whole deck excluding the channels you are playing or you load the whole thing and rapidly send a new channel to the layers.
An easy thing to implement could be making multiple decks available through tabs at the bottom of the screen. This way one could have multiple decks and easily jump from one to the other without screwing video. A few other VJ programs already have this (composite station, transzendent) but they don't allow saving or loading decks. Combining multiple decks with saving and loading would be really good!
As the VJs get lazyer the promgrammers get a harder time!
