hi i am using res 2.4. recently i have noticed sum problems in terms of freezing. it more than likely is something i am doing as i new to all this!
the problem has happened recently and was wondering about the following:
does it matter if sum of the clips are exported at different resolutions eg 600x480 or 400x300
does it matter if some clips are keyframed and others are not even if they are both compressed using indeo or cinepak
what if some clips are exported at 12fps and some are at 25fps
and if not all the clips are exported using the recomended codecs
i know from the manual that doing just as it says will give optimmum performance but if u dont follow the rules exactly like i have done wud that cause the programme to be slow or freeze so much
