Hi,
I have a problem that isnât directly related with resolume.
Iâm using notebook HP Pavilion DV1000 (with Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express chipset family). Usually Iâm connecting my notebook to projector through s-video connection with the help of s-video to composite video adapter and then to projector (composite video in). Everything was working perfectly, but now I canât connect projector in this way anymore. If Iâm connecting directly with s-video wires, everything is fine (this means that s-video output is ok on my notebook), but when I want to use composite connection it is impossible to activate secondary monitor. (All the derivers are up to date, wires are ok, I could use vga, but the wires are much more expensive and in almost all venue places composite is suggested).
Maybe someone had the same problem or maybe someone has any ideas how to solve this problem?
Many thanks in advance,
nenenas

I was trying to do something like "Force detection of device" for whole week, updated all drivers and nothing was working. So I went to shop and bought new s-video to composite video adapters. I think I know what the problem was now.
S-video output on the laptop has 7 small plugs (don't know how to call them in eng). I think now that if the adapter has 7 plugs then graphic card is not understanding that it should force composite output (not video 'cause all connections are used). I changed adapter with one that has 4 small plugs on the s-video end and now everything started to work again.
Ofcourse it's strange, 'cause I was using adapter with those 7 plugs on s-video end before and it was working. But it's one of the ways how to solve this problem. And it works
