Migrating to Perth

Hi all,
Am hoping to move to Perth with my family in the next year from ireland and would love to get in contact with someone who could help me out in a few area's. I have a few queries.
Will my electrical equiptment work if i take them eg. Tv's Dvd players and Computers?
Are there any areas that you would recommend to purchase for a family near primary and high schools.

which perth do you mean, australia or scotland?

if its Australia its 240v here, i think most of your stuff will work but check every thing.

as for suburbs thats a hard one, ill ask around about schools as well for you amongst prople with kids

we are young renters in the inner city.
