I dont know how big the demand is, but isnt there an option to get the board-activites as a RSS-Feed?

I'd subscribe immediately!!

no not yet, but we,d like to switch to different forum software anyway, can someone recommend a nice elegant one? phpBB and vbulletin both seem so bloated.
