1. Layer load/save option (I'm writing them down on paper). It's difficult to be prepared for each song in a rock band.
2. More layers or virtual layers/secondary layer/layer banks/etc. They don't really need to be in the video mix but ready to use.
3. Two FX per video cell OR basic video EQ per cell
4. Panic button
5. Favorite FX folder. It could be automatic.
6. FX/files folders iTunes-like search box. All new software should have them.
7. Winamp visualization support. I'm rendering some nice Milkdrop moments to AVIs. This is a personal one and not really needed. I'm willing to help on it.

Some good ideas. A video EQ for each clip would be great with basic functions like brightness/contrast and colour balance to modify clips without having to use the dedicated layer effect slot. A simple black+white switch would be really useful aswell for creating variations of a clip.
On the subject of effects, a routing system for the global effects slots would be much more flexible than the current system. Currently global slots can be used to set up favourite effects for use independently of the clips, but they are applied to the mixed output. It would be good to adopt an audio mixer approach and turn the global slots into effects send channels. This would allow each layer to have 3 send sliders to mix between the dry and wet signals independently which allows each layer to have a custom mix of effects.
For example, layer 1 has send 1 set to 100%, layer 2 has send 1 set to 20% and send 2 set to 50%, and layer 3 has send 1 set to 50% and send 3 set to 80%.
This is similar to the flexibility of an audio mixer where there might be two different reverbs and a delay which can be applied to any instrument in different amounts. It would allow you to use less effects for layers and to change global effects less while playing.

Most of the time yes 100% wet but with the global effects at the moment you can fade them in and out smoothly from 0 to 100%. Sometimes I like using rect field about 50% with feedback in the top layer. My suggestion would allow you to apply global effects to individual layers even if you only used them at 100%. Alot of the time rather than setting up decks with the same few clips duplicated with different effects, I just save decks without effects and use the global ones to modify the clips so I can improvise. Sometimes I have a mix of 2 layers with a global effect like rect field, if I want to bring in a 3rd layer and mix out of that section the new clip is added to the rect field, when I would like it to appear unaffected on top so I can mix a smooth transition into a new composition.
Panic button would black out screen immediately (or with a fast fade out to black). Think it as a emergency button, everything is going bad and you need to stop video. You can plug the computer off, render a black video, or press a dedicated button. Hope I am clear. Keep the good work, I've tested almost every VJ software for Windows and this is the best.
Load States
Yes, some sort of load state that you can associate with a deck.
Having done a few gigs working closely with bands it's really hard to set a deck up quickly per track. It takes minutes to swap decks, clear layers, clear effects, change blend modes etc. A default deck state you can save and load would be excellent - So you could set up all your layers, blend modes and effects how you like them for the start of the song before performing, save then quickly load again when doing it live.
It's really hard to tell the band to talk crap while you get your sh*t together between songs.
