Part of My wishlist :P

Post by Scotty »

Hello, i've been messing around a bit with the midi mapping and i havent found this feature, so i hope i'm not messing up by "suggesting" it for the future..

(A)
the idea is to press a key to activate a layer, then when you release that same key, the layer is bypassed, sort of like a timeswitcher, but one that you can activate with a single click.. i know you can have 2 buttons , one to activate and one to bypass, but is there anyway to do it with only one? Or is it even worth considering/hoping for in a future release?

Also, one thing that i'd really like would be the ability to have an effect automatically increase or decrease opacity, or to have a "curve" of some sorts that could be pre-programmed on a preset of the desired effect/freeframe.
The originl idea was to have an effect enter at max opacity and gradually and automatically decrease its opacity till it is no more.. i can do something similar like this on some of my presets, but it would be neat to have a "play" button on the opacity slider for freeframes so that all could be used this way..

Thanks in advance

This triggered *phun intended* an idea for us, it would be very powerfully to configure if a midi shortcut should act on the key down or key up event. This way you can have two separate actions on one key happen when you press and when you release.

We have already built this so it,s coming in the next major Resolume version ;-)
