Has anyone tried it? If so how useable was it?

I am using an IBM X61 Tablet with Resolume.

It works extremely well for clip and layer selection.

Managing effect sliders is just about feasible, but not too comfortable. Also, the X61 is not multitouch, so it is not possible to grab more than one control, and move them simultaneously.

I still find a MIDI controller with lots of faders (eg. UC33) is best for this.

I highly recommend a touchscreen for resolume. Together with a behringer brc2000 for parameters and a simple keyboard for FX..
