BCR2000 VS / OR M-Audio Evolution UC33e

Post by fallengrace »

Hello Everyone

This is regarding a MIDI controller as hardware for RESOLUME. As a fetal newbie to the JV game i've pondered for many hours and sieved through many forums to come to a stand off between two hardware controllers -

Accompanying these controllers ive decided to use the Scratcher -
The Mixman DM2 (Any other options) for the price?

So for the main panel i'm confused between the BCR2000 OR M-Audio Evolution UC33e?

The evolution has the faders which sounds extremely useful. but the BCR2000 has the numerous set of knobs with LED (Cmon. everyone loves the glowing lights)

So yeah, what does everyone recommend to use with resolume?

Cheers

Hi,
I've posted the same topic a few weeks ago. And I surfed the net for a few days:

-A lot of people say behringer is not so solid, it is often broke. (2 friends of me have a music shop, and they say that more than 60% of Behringer products are returned within 12 months)
-The leds on the behringer will not work in Resolume (something with midi out signal)
-the advantage of the uc 33e, is that he has knobs and faders.

I'm planning to buy mu uc 33e, within 2 weeks. But the best thinh you can have is the Codanova VMX vj, but 500€ is a litlle bit to expensive for me:)

For more information, search after this topic on the resolume forum, or seach at vjforums.com,

I have the BCR 2000 and I think is the better low cost solution tu control resolume, very easy to assing parameters, no delay, led light are usefull. feel solid.

It´s a big huge, its like my lappy and no fadres, but Its very easy to scrach with a rotary.

My 2 cent
