Problem on second monitor fullscreen output

Post by Ikyut »

Hello everybody this is my first port here. But I uses resolume on my desktop for 1 year. Now I upgrade my equipment...
And I will go direct to the point On resolume 2.3 and 2.4 versions

I have an Asus laptop 2.2 intel core 2 duo, 1gb ram, 512mb Ati Hd2600. and the hard drive is about 5400 rpm. I add a Behringer BCR 2000, to midi control that works perfect with the program and make things easier.

The machine comes with vista, resolume works fine on a fullscreen second monitor, but most videos doesn´t run and crashes the program.

So I install xp on another partition, all my footage runs properly, but i have the problem that crashes the program when I try to take out the fullscreen on the second monitor. When I push the apply button, the laptop crashes and I have to turn it off and restart….

I don´t really know about the solution, And why in vista i can run with second monitor and on xp couln´t. can you help me please. I reallywill aprecciate your help, and sorry if my english is a bit rusty..

the extrage thing is this: on vista I can use the projector with the fullscreen and no problem and Xp it´s crashes... maybe there is some kind of driver problem or missing in xp.

one friend of mine told me that maybe it´s the ovelay propierty on the graphic card option. I will try tonight!!!

Thanks ROdrigueZ for your reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try installing the latest omega drivers for your ATI GPU. That usually fixes a problem like this and gives you extra options like overscan and PAL resolution output.
