Video Capture - No input source option!

I have bought a easy cap usb device so that i can stream live video into resolume from my camcorder, however resolume does not alow you to choose the video source.

This works fine in virtual dub but it cant be done in resolume

I have gone into the Capture device settings in resolume but cant get any signal, and there doesnt seep to be a select source option at all.

Is there a way to choose the pin of the device?

more people had this problem with different devices.
Solution that worked for me:
select the source in the original program and then boot resolume. in my case resolume was following the last chosen input from the other program. But it seems that this is not working for al devices.

I had the same with my old capture card/tv card i used to have to open up the TV program, close it, then open resolume before it would be detected
