re-encoding clips - xilisoft video converter

Post by renna »

hello, i've installed both Pegasus PIC mjpeg and Ligos Indeo codecs... does someone know how can i tell Xilisoft 3gp video converter to use these codecs? in the video codec field i have the following options

mpeg4
msmpeg4
msmpeg4v1
msmpeg4v2
mpeg1video
mpeg2video
wmv1
wmv2
h263
h263p
rawvideo
rv10
dvvideo
huffyuv
ljpeg
mjpeg
svq1
zlib

i can't understand if indeo and pic are in there and which they are...

I would use Virtual Dub but i can't find a way to re encode multiple files and most of all it doesn't handle .mov files

Sorry, I dont know how to convert with Xilisoft. But with After Effects or 3dMax you have to choose AVI and then you choose PICVideo M-JPEG as the compressor. Maybe you can find these option under AVI compressor in Xilisoft.

hope you get there !
cheers

i wrote to xilisoft support and they replied that their software doesn't yet support these codecs (pic and indeo)...

i'll go with virtual dub then
