i also heard something about 3dgraphics, 3d masking, multi effects in each layer, multi screen setup.

wich features certainly come and wich not.
Also if there will be any change in the hardware load balance (like the graphics card)

As Freeframe 1.5 can use the GPU, some effects will be done all in the 3d card.. but we dont know how much else will be shifted to the GPU.
i think bart and Edwin are keeping a closed lid on new features, release date etc... its killing me!!!
