Is there a way i can "freeze" an *swf file ?

I got this *swf file that I'd like to freeze then and there during a performance but since it's only one frame, i can't pause it with resolume. Is there an effect i can use for that ?

If not, how can i "edit" the *swf file ?

i think the parameters have not been set when the swf was created so you will have no control over the swf ..perhaps bring it back into flash and set or covert to avi?
