Hi guys,
I'm completely new to this. I'm looking to play pre recorded video material on multiple TV screens onstage with a live band. I want this to sync in time with a backing track in logic, and play without being controlled or 'manned' by someone. There will be no live video feeds and no live onstage video editing. Is resolume the right software for creating video material? What do i need to run multiple video outputs? I currently have a macbook (not macbook pro)
I appreciate i may be in the wrong place on this forum, but any help would be awesome.
thanks!
Steve

Re: hardware for up to 5 outputs
hello!
first of all, Resolume is, at the moment, Windows only so you will need to be running Windows on your Mac to be able to use it.
Assuming your going to show the same thing on all of the screens, you can use a "distribution amp" or a "video matrix" to split the output from the computer to multiple screens. depending how synched you want the visuals you may have troubles. the latency of the video will be slower than the audio from logic, so you are either going to have to pre-trigger the video or delay the audio tracks. if you are using plasma screens, the difference in triggering will also have to be greater as they take slightly longer to process video data. this might not be a problem if your planning on using more "ambient" visuals but if you want more accurately beat synched stuff it might be noticeable ( this is not a resolume problem by the way... its inherant with video )
