partition problem

Post by dizrali »

Hello, We're trying to run resolume from a macbook pro, and keep encountering problems.
First, it won't allow us to do dual screens in the display setup, we have partitioned the drive and installed windows XP with service pack 2, all legal and legit, but it will only show one screen, it doesn't give the option to extend onto a second virtual monitor, even with the projector hooked up.
Second, we have an evolution MK-425C midi controller which seems to work in every other computer in the world apart from ours, it shows up when plugged into the usb on windows, but resolume cannot seem to find it, the midi general page says there are no active midi controllers inserted in the computer.
Has anyone else tried running from a partitioned drive and encountered these problems? If so, let us know how you overcame it, we've got a gig coming up and are shitting bricks.

im assuming you have Nvidia card. you need to click the nvidia icon in the task bar on the right. then goto something like display settings, and then select dual view. you need to have the projector plugged in for the display settings to show up.
