Resolume 3 on the latest Macbook Pro
Resolume 3 on the latest Macbook Pro
I have been constructing my tools to create my works and I will buy Macbook Pro installed both applications, Resolume 3 and Traktor 3. I have to check 2 monitors, Macbook Pro and an extra secondary monitor, outputting from the both applicasions. I would like to make sure Resolume 3 can assign some ranges of monitor outputs. If it is possible, I can assign "control monitor of Resolume 3" to my secondary monitor because main monitor my Macbook Pro will show "control monitor of Traktor 3". Also I will purchase Matrox MXO2 which can output visuals connecting with Firewire to whatever HDMI monitor, so my focus point is, I can output visuals to audience using MXO2, if the final output can assign MXO2 via Firewire on Resolume 3. Could you reckon this plan is possible or not, please.
Explaining more simpler
This is Yoshi. I'm gonna ask you that more simpler.
Anyway I'll prepare the latest Macbook Pro installed 2 applications, Resolume 3 and Traktor 3. I'm gonna perform to show my works, visuals and sounds, to audience using a 50 inch HDMI monitor. I have to check monitors, Macbook Pro and secondary monitor, because I'll control the both applications, Resolume 3 and Traktor 3, simultaneously. Therefore, I must prepare secondary monitor. How can I construct these? Can you guys understand what I am asking?

Re: Resolume 3 on the latest Macbook Pro
Not exactly sure what you mean but it's not so easy to send the output of the second display of the macbook pro to a screen using HDMI because the MacBook only outputs to DVI, VGA or TV-out (svideo).
Usualy if a screen has a HDMI connection it also has a DVI connection but you need to double check this.

Re: Resolume 3 on the latest Macbook Pro
for output to HDMI just use a DVI-HDMI cable. If you´re running Leopard maybe you could use "spaces" to achieve that. But if you want to see resolume and traktor interfaces simultaneously, I guess matrox dualhead2go digital version would do the trick.
