Error at starting Resolume: pm_dll.dll missing

Hi there,

since i have reinstalled resolume 2.41, resolume is starting with error warning:
Resolume could not start because of missing pm_dll.dll (this is originally in german, so i translated this freely)

after clickin ok, resolume starts...
behavior is more or less normal, but when i close resolume it will also not shutdown properly, so i get again an error message: resolume is not working anymore.

Any ideas?

My system Spec:
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 6.0 with all updates
Processor: Intel Core2Duo, 2.13 Mhz.
Ram: 2GB.
Videocard: Geforce 7900 GS
Software: Resolume 2.41

Have you installed any Freeframe plugins?

you might want to try moving all your plugins out of the plugin directory and starting Resolume. if you dont get an error anymore, then you know its something to do with some of the installed plugins.

Hi!

I've exactly the same behavior on a XP SP2 (German installation). Could you figure out what's the problem. (Re-installation of Resolume did not help). I've also some FF plug-ins installed.

im assuming you have the big fug plugins installed?

saw a mention of this on his wiki last night but didnt get as far as solving it myself.

i have fixed that problem now by installing resolume 2.4
maybe thats really the freeframe plugin, so i will install all the
freeframe plugins each by each and will keep update you here...

Hi!

I've fixed the problem too. I'm not sure why this error occurred - I've been using the big fug plug-ins for quite a while without any problems. Maybe a Windows update was the problem!? -

FIX: However, I've copied the pm_dll.dll from the plugins folder to the Resolume root folder Resolume 2.41 (the location of the VB runtime (msvcp70.dll) and the resolume.exe) --> Resolume 2.41 starts without any problem. with all plug-ins available.
