Hello all.
I am yet to download resolume, but need to know if it is possible to create sequences of photographic stills, and to have these stills changing in time with a rythm of a song? I.e- to match each change of photo in time with a beat.
I would greatly appreciate any wisdom that you may be able to share with me on this subject.
Thankyou kindly and good vibrations.

Yes it is possible.
Just drag a number of image files into the same "channel" (i.e. a channel is a slot in a deck which can contain a video clip, flash anim, or still(s) ).
You can then edit how quickly the images change, either in seconds, or in beats. Right click on the channel to see the options.
It isn't possible (as far as I know) to remove or edit the images you have dragged in though, so make sure you know which ones you want. You can always clear the channel and start again.
If this isn't clear I can post some screenshots later on - gotta fly right now.

Man, Thank you ever so much for your response. You've been a great help to me. If you did have time to post up some screen captures, that would be so useful. Thanks again. Good vibrations

Re: Rythmic photographs.

I've dragged 4 image files into this channel slot. I've now right clicked on the channel to bring up the playback options. The manual has a section on this, and on the different playback options.
One way to increase the image transition time to more than 5 seconds is to set the playback to BPM, and under the global BPM options, set it to something low like 30 BPM and the image transition to 48 beats or something like that - see image.
Hope this helps - play around and get something that works for you.
If you want to get a crossfade effect, you can use the Wave or Alpha Trail effect in that channel slot, or in one of the global effect slots.
