Hey guys,
I'm trying to get this going under vista 64 (will be switching back to xp as soon as current projects are finished) but no luck... It will load but either crashes immediately or freezes as soon as I try previewing a clip. I've also noticed my comp slows considerably when Avenue loads.

Specs are: AMD 64x2 6000+
4gb ram
Leadtek WinFast PX6800 Ultra TDH 512MB (I have two of these installed)

Have never had any issue with Resolume 2.4/4.1.

Thanks for all the hard work!

EDIT: Ah, I just tried my own clips and it seems to be working now, although fairly sluggishly. It's the Resolume clips that are crashing the app for me.

did you also test the windowed and fullscreen out options on 2nd screen/beamer?

I still can't get it to work... :(

resolume 2 runs like a charm.. on both screens...
resolume 3 runs like a charm.. but no output on 2nd screen...

namero999 wrote:Well, the same. It doesn't even start, it crash immediately. Is there any particular specification? My system is a 2Ghz Centrino, 2Gb RAM, ATI X700 video card 64MB, Windows XP SP2.

I also have the latest Visual Studio and DDLs installed, maybe some incompatibilities between system libraries?

Thank you guys
You say 64 meg video. I expect you'd need more physical ram for the GPU and that it may just be shared memory which doesn't fit the new spec. =\

Ugh when will this day of pain end so I can leave and test on my machines ;)

Soon... Soon...

I tried it at work on a lark, and it came up and went to 2nd monitor or projector just fine on a HP/Compaq dual core with Radeon X1650 (with XP Pro). Didn't have my clips drive here so i'll give it a real workout when I leave.

i will probably use only 5 columns and 4 layers and 8 decs like always its perfect setup with vmxvj so ther will be alot unused space... will it be posible to move elements of ui in future ? i know i can scale them but its not that i need ;)

When I set a clip to "BPM sync" mode, the clip will play in sync but only in "loop" mode. if I change it (bounce or once) it will still play in loop mode.
so far the only BIG bug i found. It crashed once when switching from timeline to BPM sync.

I´m running a MBP 4GB 256Mb video, photo jpeg 640 x 480

cheers

Hello guys,

After spending many hours by installing - reinstalling video drivers.....installing - resintalling windows with last updates etc., I understood which was the problem using Resolume 3 on my t60p notebook. The resolution that I'm using on the notebook is 1680 by 1050 pixels with 32bit color quality. It seems that this is not the resolution loved by Resolume 3, the monitor is flickering and I can't see a thing on it. By pressing Print Screen button on the keyboard and after closing R3 with Alt+F4 then opening Paint Brush and ctrl+V over here, I succeed to view how R3 looks like and also here I found something. The fonts in some places are not visible clearly. I've linked here the picture and I'm waiting for you guys to tell if these situations also appeared on your computers. http://img01.picoodle.com/img/img01/3/1 ... 26522d.jpg
