Audio or midi input

Post by paull »

Hi

I am really enjoying Avenue 3 it is very stable for a BETA.

Will you be implementing audio or midi in at any stage in the future to control the timing ( it may already be implemented in which case I appologise )

The reason I ask is that I want to use Avenue 3 alongside Traktor which has taken me 2 years to get how I want it and has very advanced search facilites and would like to sink to it either by audio as I did with Resolume 2.4 or midi timecode,

If this is not posible, any suggestions. Currently I tap in the beat for each change of tempo.

Thanks

Paull

Hi Paull,
You need to enable midi-clock in the Midi tab in the Preferences window.
When enabled Resolume will listen to external midi-clock messages just as in Resolume 2.

Hi Edwin,

Thanks great, I will hook up one of my midi interfaces and give it a go.

On a very differnt subject. I used a lot of SWf Shockwave files in 2.41 and due to Vista can noy use them now. Have you any recomendations as to how I can get text on screen ?

Thanks
