How to sync parameters? (suggestion)

I would like to have some parameters take effect exactly synchronized: for example, say I have three clips side-by-side and want them to rotate on their Y axis, exactly in sync. Right now, if I sync Y axis rotation to timeline, the clip starts rotating right when I link it - so each of the clips is slightly out of sync, since I can't start them all at once.

Perhaps one way to do this is to allow the dashboard knobs themselves to be linked to timeline/bpm etc. You would link a dashboard knob to timeline, then link all the various parameters to that single knob. All the parameters would change in sync, with the possibility of a manual override by going in and grabbing the knob.

You can easily start 3 clips at once by putting them al in the same column and then triggering the column.
