video + audio = slow performance?

Post by irlus »

Hello!
Own Resolume 3, It's awesome! Running on a MBP 2.4 Core2Duo / 10.5.5 / 2GB RAM / w/external FW800 HD for video and audio files. I'm having a performance issue with video + audio:

When switching between video clips Resolume is WICKED FAST!

Video + Audio on the other hand is not nearly as responsive. It seams to have to do the same process every time of joining the audio and video together to run the clip...I keep getting that little yellow bar...and then the clip plays.

In the demo it seemed to "join" the video + audio one time - the first time the video + audio clip was triggered - and in subsequent triggers, back and forth to the clip, it seemed to "work" without re-rendering.

I am wondering if anyone knows how to get Resolume to be able to quickly jump back and forth between video + audio without having to wait for that little yellow bar to "join" or "render" the video + audio EVERY single time I'd like to trigger the clip? Or if the default settings need to be adjusted to do this what's the set up?

Thanks.

you have to change the beat snap config.

The yellow line counts beats down till the clip is triggered. so it is triggered in sync with the global bpm

Go to Composition-beat snap and select none.

that shownd do it

cheers
