Good laptop for Resolume

hmm
thank you for the quick answer, but im afraid i dont quite understand it. I thought one could easily get video out of it via the Mini DisplayPort?

I'm thinking for buying a laptop and i would like to know if this spec would run resolume smoothly?
I'm not really a techy person so i apologise for my ignorance.

The Spec of the laptop is:
- 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo processor with 4MB shared L2 cache

- 120GB 5400rpm hard drive

the spec looks good enough to me. would be nice to see a faster hard drive, but an external one could sort that out. im assuming its not one of the newest Macs? try to make sure you can get hold of the video / svideo adaptor for it as i hear they are not going to be available ( at least for now ) for the new Macs.

Really appreciate your response. I would probably use an external hard drive to store my clips etc.

The laptop seems to be from September 2007. It includes - DVI to VGA Adapter???

if your just planning to get a vga output adaptor, then you will also need a scanconvertor unless you are going straight in to a projector that can handle vga ( although if you need to do a relatively wrong cable run you may hit problems there too )

i cant confirm or deny if thats exactly what is needed.... sounds like it from the description, but im not a mac owner, so cant say 100%..... im familliar but not a mac expert.
