Hello everyone,
Just wondering if anyone could tell me, is it possible to run multiple midi controllers at THE SAME TIME on Resolume 3? Has anyone done this?
For example:
Trigger Finger on 1 USB port
BCD 3000 on 1 other USB port
or
Trigger Finger on 1 USB port
Remote SL on 1 other USB port
or
Trigger Finger on 1 USB port
Trigger Finger (#2) on 1 other USB port
I own a Trigger Finger - but it doesn't seem to have enough knobs or sliders for all I'd like to do and I'd like to combine 2 controllers. Has anyone tried this? THANKS EVERYBODY!
Multiple Midi Controllers?
Re: Multiple Midi Controllers?
Yes you can use as many MIDI controllers as you like. We tried this with a remote 25SL and a BCR2000.

Re: Multiple Midi Controllers?
UH-OH...experimented with this at length the week before a show - and during a show...I couldn't get multiple midi to play nice...Used a trigger finger and AKAI 24, the trigger worked fine but the AKAI 24 worked about half the time then crashed the program...repeatedly. SO I stuck with the trigger finger. Going to try it with the new Nano Kontrol from Korg soon.
I'll let you all know. Love the program! Gonna be so great when all the kinks are worked out!
Thanks!

Re: Multiple Midi Controllers?
hi Bart, does Resolume distinguish between different midi channels? ie can you map channel 1 note B0 to 1 clip, and channel 2 note B0 to a different clip?
i dont have 2 midi controller so its not easy to check on this end, but was just wondering.

Re: Multiple Midi Controllers?
Yes this is possible, the channel number is respected in the midi assignment.levon wrote:can you map channel 1 note B0 to 1 clip, and channel 2 note B0 to a different clip?
