Dual monitor or DVDMax?

Hi,

I really like the output-quality of the dual monitor mode with my geforce440mx. But i'd like it if i didnt have to bring a preview monitor along with me al the time.

So i tried the radeon 9500, which gave me black borders and a strange black horizontal stripe across the screen sometimes. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Another thing. is it possible with dvdmax/theatre mode solutions to up the resolution, like you can in dual monitor mode?

to up the resolution, right click on the preview window, and use the output menu to pick the res
