will amd work?

i was reading in the faqs it was built for a duel core intel based computer..
just wondering if amd would be ok?
anybody run into any problems??
seems like the lower end macs and pcs comes with the intel video card shared memory etc etc..

A 2.0+ ghz Dual Core X2 AMD would work just fine. You really would need a dedicated graphics chip in your computer. The Generic Intel stuff just won't cut it.

Actually the newer (Late 2008) macbooks work fine now as they have decent nvidia chipsets. Rumour has it we may see the same chips put into imac and mac mini's shortly. Guess we'll see.
